Turning back to his home region, in 1986, Ven. Sanghasena founded the Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC) at Leh, Ladakh.

Devachan, meaning Pure Land, is the 230-acre campus where many of the activities of MIMC are housed.

Without the selfless effort of Ven. Sanghasena and the hard work and dedication of staff and members of MIMC, the centre would not be possible.

However, this alone could not have allowed MIMC to grow.

It was through the encouragement and financial support from supporters and sponsors that the campus flourished.

To them the Devachan community bows their heads in praise of their sense of concern, compassion, charity, and love.
