Mahakaruna Cover
Mahakaruna, as a fully-embodied and highly active personal and social transformation program, is yet another important initiative spearheaded by MIMC, to address the many challenges and threats that face our world today – from sectarianism, violence, poverty, hunger, disease, environmental degradation, excessive consumerism, and so on.
Our vision through the various humanitarian and spiritual programs of MIMC is to raise public awareness and recognition of the priceless value of life, gratitude, compassion, our shared humanity, and ecology.
Mahakaruna, expressed through compassionate action, is an urgent call to take care of our planet Earth, our fellow living beings, our human society, so that the air remains pure, the water remains clean, the trees remain green, the animals remain on this earth, and we all come to peacefully co-exist, with joy and well-being, on this very planet, which we all call “home”.
In pursuance of its objectives, MIMC has organized the “Mahakaruna – Compassion in Action” event for the past several years, and the response has been tremendously positive. Spurred on by this success, this year's event(s) will be bigger and bolder than ever before, so that the message of Mahakaruna will spread far and wide.
