Venerable Bhikkhu Sanghasena was Guest of Honor on the occasion of Losar celebration 2018 and birth centenary celebration of 19th Kushok Bakula Rinpoche organized by Ladakh Students Association LSA Chandigarh. Guruji while addressing to the large gathering and deeply appreciated the humanitarian services carried out by the Ladakh students association.
Guruji presented the Book (Monk Postpones Nirvana) to the Honorable Governor of Haryana Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki and discussed with him about the history of Buddhist in Haryana and the need to establish Buddhist Centres in the state of Haryana which the Honorable Governor appreciated. Guruji also met Professor Arun Kumar Grover the Honorable Vice Chancellor of Panjab University, Chandigarh and Prof. Kuldip Chand Agnihotri the Honorable Vice Chancellor of Central University, Himachal Pradesh and discussed with them on various important issues including the requirement of Hostel for Ladakhi Students studying in Chandigarh.
An Important meeting of the members of the Mahabodhi Delhi Branch was held under the chairmanship of most Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena at the office of the HelpAge India on 12th of Jan, 2018. Guruji welcomed the members and wished them a very Happy new Year. A documentary film on MIMC was also screened and Guruji briefly mentioned the progress of the various activities undertaken by MAHABODHI INTERNATIONAL MEDITATION CENTRE. He also mentioned about the upcoming Mahakaruna Day and One day meditation camp and opening of Mahabodhi In Mumbai. The members expressed their deep appreciation of the various program initiated by most Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena and all reiterate their commitments to support Guruji in his future endeavors.
An important meeting was held at the National Sports Club of India, Worli, Mumbai on the 7th of January 2018 of the members and well-wishers of MIMC in Mumbai. The members discussed various issues about, how to promote spiritual, cultural values and world peace in the present day world which is strongly influenced by materialism. Venerable Bhikkhu Sanghasena expressed his desire to have Mahakaruna Diwas and Mediation Camp in Mumbai. The members have expressed their deep appreciation for Guruji’s works in Ladakh and beyond, and welcomed the Mahakaruna Diwas on the 24th of Feb, a mediation and yoga camp on the 25th of Feb and the opening of office for the Mahabodhi Ladakh Culture Centre in Mumbai.

They have discussed several important issues in regards how to work together for the revival of Buddhism in its birth place, India. Among the various programs that have discussed is the Buddhist Youth leadership program. Dr. Tan Ho Soon and its board members have kindly agreed to host 20 youth members from India for 10 days Buddhist youth Leader program. This is yet another important programs, the three distinguish organization Nalanda Buddhist Society, MIMC and International Dhamma Conference.
